If you could have one superpower, what would you choose?

That's easy: flight! Wear appropriate clothing, pack some provisions, a camera, some maps and a GPS unit, and you could pretty much go anywhere in the world you want -- not to mention get out of trouble fast, if need be.
I, of course, would use such a power to visit South Africa far more often; the freedom of movement would also allow me to stop off along the way, just like a migrating bird, to see all that I miss when 30,000 feet above the ground.
What - no x-ray vision?! Just think of the possibilities.
Luckily I don't need to fly to South Africa more often - since I live in Cape Town!

X-ray vision's a gimmick -- even Superman only uses it occcasionally. Plus, the majority of uses I could imagine for it involve differing varieties of extortion, and I'm too honest a person. Catholic guilt and all that.
And even if I lived in Cape Town (which is a lovely place, by the way -- I was there last September) I'd still need to fly, since my fiancee lives in Gauteng.
